Business Intelligence Analyst Role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Founder, this newly created role reflects the demands of our business growth. In this position, you'll play a crucial part in supporting strategic decision-making by leveraging Power BI and other analytics tools to transform financial data into actionable insights.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, analysing trends, and driving strategic decisions that impact both our clients and our business. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your financial expertise with your passion for data and analytics.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimise Power BI dashboards that provide key financial insights for clients.
• Use Power Query and DAX to manipulate, link, and manage data for reporting.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for clients to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the internal finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that aligns with client goals.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial reports and visualisations, adhering to accounting standards.
• upport the implementation of data solutions across departments to improve reporting processes.

Your Skills & Experience:

• ACCA/CIMA qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
• Proven experience working with Power BI including report creation and dashboard visualisation.
• Strong skills in Power Query and DAX for data manipulation and integration.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Macros (VBA proficiency is a plus!).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and key business metrics.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to clients and internal teams effectively.
